The Beaver County Ice Sharks are a youth ice hockey team that provides an opportunity for kids in our area with developmental and physical disabilities to learn the game, develop their skills, and build long-lasting friendships. Their mission is to promote participation in ice hockey by providing an adapted environment that caters to athletes with developmental and physical disabilities. This fosters a sense of dependability, self-confidence, and personal accountability in the players, which will enable them to succeed both on and off the ice. The Ice Sharks aim to raise awareness within the wider community about the importance of adaptive sports for people with disabilities, promoting social awareness and physical development.
