Earlier this week, Steve and Marcus dropped off boxes of goodies to support the Light of Life Rescue Mission Christmas Stocking Campaign for the 3rd year in a row.

Light of Life is a place where hope and healing meet for men, women, and families experiencing homelessness, poverty, or addiction. The mission has many services like a Men’s Residential Program, a Women and Children’s Program, and Food and Emergency Services. Since 1952, they have been trying to transform lives through the love of Christ.

Thanks to the prayers, compassion, and generosity of their supporters, Light of Life is making a real difference for those who have been devastated by homelessness, addiction, or abuse. Last year, they were able to provide more than 250,000 meals for those in need, provide 8,000 nights of shelter for men who were homeless, and they are currently able to shelter 155 people nightly. Along with that, they held 800 chapel services to those in need and provided 1,300 Thanksgiving dinner baskets to families in need on the North Side.

The Light of Life offers many ways to help the homeless and hurting men, women, and children in their community. Not only are they accepting financial gifts, but they are also accepting clothing, food, and personal hygiene donations. You can learn more at https://www.lightoflife.org/waystogive/.

We hope you take a moment to visit their page and support them this holiday season.
